About The Active Cup
The Active Cup is a free school movement challenge that turns screen time into active play. Developed by DCU researchers and academics, the games use movement as the controller - helping children build confidence, coordination, and movement skills through fun, active gameplay.
Facilitated by Healthy Kidz, this pilot programme is designed to encourage more children to move both in school and at home in the lead-up to Sports Day and Active School activities.
The app is free to download and currently available on iPhone and iPad (iOS only).
